The Design Challenge

Gus and Paulette Gamba wanted to create a barn building to their family winery more of a presence at their vineyard. The Owners were especially concerned that the Building have good proportions and be in harmony with the older buildings on the property.

The Design Response

The finished barn sits comfortably in the vineyard and provides a clear presence for the Gamba Winery. The building was constructed using stryrofoam-insulated concrete forms for increased insulation and energy efficiency.
